| Text |  In 2009 the School of Design introduced a three-year Bachelor of Design Innovation (BDI) degree offering three new design specialisations: Culture+Context, Industrial and Media.
The BDI degree structure provides students with a greater variety of recognised qualifications and the expanded opportunities required to tailor their course of study to their individual interests. This is the first degree within the University to offer a minor, allowing students to include another specialised area of study within their degree programme.
