Nanoforce Technology is a spin-out company from the Department of Materials, Queen Mary University of London. It was set up as a part of the Micro and Nanotechnology Network funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (now the Technology Strategy Board-TSB) and the London Development Agency. Its remit is to exploit micro and nano technology and to disseminate the results to industry and academia for the development of products and processes.
Nano Mates (Universitá degli studi di Salerno) 2007 research centre, university, nano technology
The Research Centre NANO_MATES (Research Centre for NANOMAterials and nanoTEchnology at University of Salerno) was established in August 2007. It is a research network within the University Campus aiming at accomplishing a strong synergy between scientists active in nanoscience and nanotechnology at the 8 Departements joining in the Centre.
Sun Dry Swim (Sun Dry Technologies) UV, nano technology, skin, fabric
Sun Dry Swim fabrics have been treated using a range of proprietary methods with a nanotechnology process that is inert, UV stable, and completely harmless to skin. This guarantees that you won't end up with rashes or be allergic to it, as the non-toxic nanotechnology treatment is water based and environmentally friendly. With an invisible nanotechnology mesh around each fabric fiber, you will find yourself wearing a permanent water repelling material without interfering with the fabric weave. This also makes it a whole lot easier to clean, while the breathable material itself is protected surface with water resistant properties.
Universiteit Twente Zsofia Ruttkay (UT-Universiteit Twente) university, school, students, bachelor, master, research, bio-nano technology, susteinable energy, design sciences, communication design, natural sciences, life and social sciences, communication technology, test centre
The University of Twente is a research university that focuses on technological developments in a social context within an active knowledge economy. This focus is reflected in 22 bachelor's and 31 master's programs in the fields of engineering, social and behavioural sciences. Students are challenged to look beyond their field's borders and to interact with other disciplines. This multidisciplinary approach stimulates innovation in science and society
